Disabled Woman Gets Funds to Get Vehicle Running Again

August

Our local conference of St. Vincent de Paul from our parish recently had the opportunity to come to the aid of a 57-year-old, disabled woman from Gages Lake. Although she is generally able to live within her means from month to month on her disability income, she found herself unable to pay for car repairs that left her vehicle inoperable and sitting at an auto repair shop. Our group was able to pay for the necessary repairs and help her to regain her independence to drive herself to doctor appointments and do her errands. Our financial supporters are crucial for us to carry out our mission to help the poor and needy in our community.
