SVdP Chicago 160 Year Anniversary

March

Since 1857, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Diocesan Council of Chicago has provided a number of services to needy families and individuals in our community, including home visits, housing assistance, disaster relief, education and mentoring, food pantries, dining halls, clothing, assistance with transportation, prescription medication, rent and utility costs, emotional and spiritual support.

Vincentian members are called by God to improve the lives of people facing homelessness, economic adversity, and emergency need situations. We make no distinction in those being served regardless of their individual backgrounds, because Vincentians see the face of Christ in those they serve.

St. Paul the Apostle Church has an active conference that directly helps those in our local communities of Gurnee, Gages Lake, Wildwood, Park City, Waukegan and North Chicago. If you are interested in learning more about our conference and how you can become a member, volunteer or make a donation, please call (847)347-0832.
